Swae Lee, born Aaquil Brown on June 7, 1995, in Inglewood, California, is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter known for his contributions to hip-hop and contemporary R&B. He is one half of the duo Rae Sremmurd, alongside his brother Slim Jxmmi. The duo gained prominence with their debut album, "SremmLife," released in 2015, featuring the hit single "Black Beatles," which reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100.
